3 Tips to Help You Say "Good-bye" to Headaches!

Freedom from pain can make such a difference in life!

45 million Americans suffer from headaches each year, with tension headaches and migraines most common; both can are painful, debilitating, and can limit our lives.

Tech Alert: Hunching forward over your phone or computer day after day may be the source of your tension headaches.

Angling your head forward can put up to 60lbs of additional pressure on your spine.  (Right now, sit up a little straighter!)

Here’s 3 Tips for Headache Relief:

1) Do some exercise that strengthens your back & shoulders: a few sun salutations in the morning can make a big difference.

2) Set up an alarm to go off every hour at your desk for a minute of stretching and deep breaths.

3) Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Studies show people who suffer from migraines average only 6 hours a night.  In addition, those that sleep 6 or less hours have more frequent and severe headaches.

I hope these tips will help you create conditions that give you freedom from headaches, and more free flowing ease in life.  Give them a try!
